like i said i would...

So this is the end of summer and a bit after. I'm back in school, but before i start talking about that, let's see how my summer ended. After my cowboy adventure in oriville, I went home for a bit, just to leave again for Los Angelos. Me and my family go to LA every year for a family reunion, and a Dodger game. Now i dont care what people say like "Dodgers suck" because they won the game we went to. And just because your opinion is different than mine, doesn't mean your going to change my mind. I do enjoy going to LA every year, but when the summer was over I asked myself where did the time go.

I returned home to the usual chores that all teenagers have, and enjoyed my last week of summer. Then school came. It was nice to see all my friends again, and my teachers are great. No problems so far, and one new thing im doing this year cross country. Also my awsome swim coach Mr. drum opened up the pool for the cross country team on fridays. gives me more reason to run.

being a junior is fine, still waiting for something exciting to happen. I'm now takeing Wood Shop, and I can't wait to start. In Wood Shop we make guitars, and now skateboards! My main goal for this year to get people to join the swim team. we only had 3 people last year, but as one of the veterans im going to recruit more people. I thought I would type more for this blog, but nothing unique happened. Maybe I'll make some new friends.

how i spent my summer, and how it is going!

So I have 22 days left till summer ends, and then I will be a junior. the reason I am doing a blog in the middle of my summer is because I dont wan't to forget all the current events. I must say this has been the most adventurous summer I have ever had. For my first week I kicked back and relaxed, getting ready to go to Ohio, to visit my sister who got out of the airforce. She has a great job, and a new house made in the 1950's or something like that. Not really new if you think about it. I stayed for 2 weeks, we went to resturants, an amusement park called "Kings island", and I helped her around the house. This was very exciting for me, because I've never been anywhere but California. But this adventure did have it's down side, when we heard my grandpa in Indiana was in the hospital. So, me and my sister went to got see him. His problem was unknown, and he looked very bad. I had not seen my grandpa for 17 years, because he lived so far away. He would always send me funny e-mails. He couldn't talk and they didn't know if he could see, but what I really wanted most was to let him know I was there. It was very sad to leave him like that, but I hear he is doing much better now.

When I got back home, it was no different from when I left. I still had chores, and my parents didnt leave me stranded. A little time went by, and this is when I lost track of what day it was. I can't recal days and events, I am very forgetful sometimes. After celebrating a party, which i have no idea if it was a holiday or not, i decided i should throw a party this summer. Before i could start planning my own party one of my friends invited me to his. It was Kyle's going away to the navy party. me and Kyle became friends from being on the swim team at our school. Kyle is faster than me, but its fine getting 2nd place at every swim meet, at every school. Kyle didnt leave till midsummer, so we still had time for some fun time at the lake.

Again I lost track of time, because I don't remember when i threw my party. All I know is that it was before the 4th of July. It was a small party with my close friends. most couldn't make it, but i think  7 is a good a number. My first party that I was in charge of went smoothly, and my friends became friends with my other friends. My best friend Matt had surgery on his foot, so he couldn't swim in the pool. A huge disapointment, when my other good friend Adam couldn't make it, because of him new job at hot topic. Which he didnt tell me personaly! He owes me big time! The party ended and everyone went home. It was a good night, and I wont forget it.

4th of July!! I only had one wish, and that was to light the pool on fire and jump in it. Well that didn't happen. Instead we celebrated at my house with my grandparents, aunts, and cousins. I dont know why but i just cant recal an uncle there. As always we would light fireworks, and I would jump over them before they bursted with major sparks. You always get tired after the 4th of July, even when you run out of fire works, and it's not midnight. A little bit after the 4th, maybe the 7th, Matt came over with left over fire works. Now that was a blast. We took apart some of them and made our own firework. Held the cracking balls in are hand, and waited just for the right moment to throw them into the air, before they popped. 17 is a fun age.

July 16th, I leave home to go to Oriville for a week, where I am currently staying. I go to Oriville every year to help my grandmother out with her 7 acres of land. This time I brought my cowboy hat, that I got for my birthday, or maybe chrismas I dont know. January and December are so close. So far I havent done much but feed the horses, and help build a railing for her porch. Last year I remember doing so much more, I guess we're at the point where there is not much else to do....

I do think it was a mistake to make a blog in the middle of the summer, but sense I already started, I'll do a sequel called " summer's end and after"...

one sin leads to another...

Why is this world filled with so much hate and sin. The only thing that should be able to hate is the Devil. The one who hates everything about us: who we are, what we do, and why we were made. Hatred only causes problems. The last major war was WWII and still we are fighting each other like dogs. But what we can we do? I say we should take a stand and be strong. We should get to know thee enemy instead of fighting them. We are giving the Devil what wants by fighting and hating each other. We must make friends and peace, even forget the past to lead to a better future. Forget what they did and think what they could do better. Imagine a world without hate and only love and come up your own way to make peace with one another.

the big test!

I understand to pass high school, students have to do the California High School Exit Exam. The bubble in the answer portion, I understand is necessary to graduate, but the hard part for me is the written essay. why should we have to do something that drags your score down. I say if you get a "B" on your CAHSEE you should be able to graduate, but this test wants you to fail. If you obtained a "B-" on the CAHSEE the only way for you to pass is to get a 4 on the essay. I know this because I scored my own test and I believe it's unfair. go ahead and argue, but there are more people who will agree.
